sbnrnyer sejak ada ayra ni, belum pernah betul2 NIP (nursing in public) lagi. reason is m very2 segan to expose myself in front of other people, other than my baby n husband. so to me, even nursing at my parents in law's house and/or relatives' houses out in the open (not in private room) is considered NIP hehehehe.. and when there are so many male relatives around lagiiiiii lerrrrr sepoloh kali segannyer sbnrnyer.. tp demi ayra, sbb dia lapar, tpaksa la letak tepi keseganan itu.. citer psl NIP ni kena buat entry lain.. sbb masa mula2 ada ayra tu mmg agak kelakar bila keluar hehe..
so anyway, itu baru dgn relatives.. belum kat shopping malls with strangers all around me lagi kan???? so how do i tackle tis when we go out with ayra?
first thing we do is check out the nursing/baby room. FACTOR INI SANGAT2 PENTING to ensure ayra's comfort while going jalan2.. biasa la, baby yg dry and well-fed is a happy baby kan hehehe.. so far belum jalan2 byk malls lg.. byk lg yg lum cover, but ada a few da covered sbb tu ada part part entry ni..
to start with, my review will be on nursing rooms at the curve, paradigm mall, setia city mall and one utama shopping center.
1) the curve - masa kitaorg pergi the curve hari tu, it was under renovation so we had to use the one in metrojaya. verdict: yucky to the max. the changing area doesnt look clean to me. the whole room has poopy smell. the nursing room ada pintu but the one i had to go into xleh lock. panas dlm bilik tu. and again, major poopy smell! hoping the new nursing room at the curve to be much better. read some bad reviews on this too.
2) isetan one utama - very nice! spacious. comfortable. clean. rasanyer bleh bwk masuk stroller. very important if m alone with ayra kan. has 2 nursing rooms. i think 3 changing areas yg also very clean. verdict: good!
3) paradigm mall - has nursing room at EVERY FLOOR, which is good. changing area is good. relatively clean. but nursing area is not to my liking. it is 1 area separated into 2 using curtains. so lets say a mom is using the room on the outside, i have to go pass her to get to the other nursing room next to her. ermm where's the privacy la?? plus i cant get the stroller in! kang org curi caner?? verdict: thumbs up for having it at every floor but must improve on nursing room. haish. so sayang.
4) setia city mall - if m not mistaken they have at least 1 at every floor, and 2 at level 1 (1 on each end). verdict: good. very clean. private nursing cubicle yg muat stroller. a bit panas dlm private room for me. xtau la kalau hari tu was a hot day sbb baca review org lain takde plak yg complain panas hahaha..
nursing room to try in near future:
1) parkson 1 utama
2) jusco 1 utama
3) klcc
4) pavilion
oh yes, since ayra is bfeeding, tak brp perasan ada hot/cold water dispenser tak at every mall. tp yg perasan kat setia pakai coway, kat paradigm pun ada tp bkn coway la. yg kat metrojaya the curve n isetan 1utama tak perasan hehe..
