assalamualaikum everyone..
finally, our baby boy has arrived..
and we named him Azim Shazad bin Azrul..
panggil Azim jer..
on my last post, i mentioned wanting to try vbac (vaginal birth after cesarean). i had to have elective czer for ayra because she was a breech baby.. so for my 2nd baby if ada rezeki baby tak breech mmg nak try vbac.. and alhamdulillah for us, baby mmg da turn, kepala kat bawah.. tiap2 kali check up mmg position dia kepala kat bawah..
however, as human being we can only plan and doa and hope for the best.. on my 40th week check up, doctor did the ultrasound and told me this:-
1) my uterus wall at the previous scar is really thin. she showed me how thick a uterus wall should be (she scanned other parts of my uterus), and then compare with the one at the scar. it is definitely thin. like 1/4 of how thick it should be..
2) jalan mmg tak bukak. langsung. kepala baby jauh lagi..
3) i have high blood pressure..
4) air ketuban da kurang..
5) i have asthma..
so with all these 5 reasons, even if i was induced, i might not dilate gak. and if during the process my bp spiked up, or my asthma triggered, kena jugak emergency czer. if in the process air ketuban makin kurang tp jalan still tak bukak, kena jugak emergency czer. and lets not forget forcing the baby out might cause my stitches to rupture sbb dinding uterus tu da nipis sgt..
as much as i wanted to have a normal birth like everyone else, i have to think about my baby's life and mine too. is it really worth going through all the complications knowing my chances to have normal birth is so low? is it worth it going through all that and ended up going for emergency czer, which is riskier than elective czer?
therefore, i opted for elective czer to give birth to my baby boy.
i guess my children likes to kuar ikut tingkap hahahaha..
so even though the method of giving birth is the same as Ayra's.. the experience is totally different.. yang tu nanti la citer.. Azim nak susu dah.. hihi..
