the last time i posted about my pregnancy i was 22 weeks.. well m 35 weeks now.. time flies! tau2 je nak masuk 9 bulan da..
at around 6 mths pregnant i've opened up the famous buku merah/pink from klinik kesihatan and alhamdulillah my baby's head da turun.. however the next month's check up was a different story.. baby was breeched - with position exactly like ayra's.. and time ni doc said baby can turn but most likely not..
but what made me went to open up the pink book this pregnancy (time ayra tak bukak pun), was because during my 5 mth check up, the doctor at hospital umra told me umra's policy was to perform czer operation on a previously czer-ed mum - regardless of the position of the baby. so baby engaged ke tak umra tetap akan czer bcoz it is the hospital's policy. so the good doctor told me to open up the pink book and look for other options if i want to have vbac (vaginal birth after caesarean) or in layman terms - nak bersalin normal after czer.
i tried going to salam specialist hospital after finding out that they do perform vbac.. there are other hospitals in shah alam that does too such as demc and kpj shah alam tp faham2 la kan, mahal giler la.. so those 2 hospitals are not in my list. masa kat salam la i found out baby was breeched. i also have my reasons kenapa tak choose salam je to give birth..
anyway, the next check up was for 34 weeks. wanted to go to KK again initially, because i thought we have to have at least twice check ups kat KK for us to be eligible to give birth at govt hosp, and also nurse at KK will set an appointment with doctor at a government hospital near us or something like that la.. however i was very unfortunate because the queue at KK was super long, there were sooooo many people there even though ramai advised me to go petang sbb tak ramai tp hari tu mmg ramai giler!!! and i ended with a migraine not long after i waited for my number to be called. took my book back from the nurse and went to umra.
upon leaving KK, i called PPUM to request for an appointment but again rezeki wasnt on my side, nurse yg jawab tu garang giler and said "dah penuh, cari hospital lain." when i answered her question on when my due date was. ok fine. tu yg pegi check up kat umra tu. at least i knw the status of my baby kan.
alhamdulillah, baby turned and quite engaged. doctor said most unlikely to turn. so kalau nak vbac it is time to search for other options. the next appointment with umra is next 2 weeks, so by the next 2 weeks, i have to make a decision - vbac at other hospital or elective czer at umra.
this is the reason munculnya list of hospitals tue.. whole day i was calling hospitals and asking about their delivery package/cost and if they do vbac.
alhamdulillah, we may have found a hospital. dah pegi jumpa doctor at that hospital.. she also said most unlikely baby will turn (to breech position). success rate pun tinggi insyaAllah. apa pun semua di tangan Allah, kita hanya merancang kan..
