why do i say tis? because just in year 2012, i've been to jakarta for the 3rd time!!! i know i know, some might say at least i get to travel for work.. well fyi, travelling is part of my department's scope of work coz we're called global trade & strategic alliance.. so kena la travel kan.. lined up in our dept's calendar are programs in kazakhstan, turkey, abu dhabi, australia, paris - other than jakarta la kan.. so of course i'd love to have the chance to travel to these places tp nak buat caner, takde rezeki..
what's not to love about jakarta? it's traffic jam most definitely.. and the effect it has on the environment - bad weather, dirty atmosphere, etc. tu je yg x best abt jakarta actually.. but bcoz we hv to travel everyday, we still hv to leave early just to endure the traffic - itu yg buat the travelling sucks like hell.. penat kan kalau duduk dlm jam lama2.. what more if tiap2 hari.. haishhhh..
what's to love about jakarta? their food, shopping, and ermmm shopping haha.. i love their culture, i love how their taxi drivers are mostly very well manered.. and i love their hard rock cafe hihihihi..
so why do i hv to be in jakarta again? the 1st time tis year was for meetings.. 2nd time was for business mission & business matching.. and tis time was becoz we participated in an exhibition organized by oic today/oic international business ctr from malaysia but organized in jakarta. to put it short, kena paksa participate sbb ceo oic tu mintak ceo kitaorg participate.. sudahnyer, sbb lmbt booking, lmbt byr n lmbt everything kitaorg dpt booth belakang, and not many ppl lalu situ.. as it is mmg tak ramai org gi exhibition tu.. pastu booth plak belakang2 lg ler org tak lalu..
yg bestnyer ramai org jual baju kat expo tu hihihi.. abis duit aku.. but not good for the companies who came with us sbb most of the trade visitors and other exhibitors are from totally diff industry.. there were many malaysian exhibitors too - who also felt that this exhibition is a waste of time, money and effort..
another thing yg tak best is because we were late (again), dpt hotel yg agak jauh from convec ctr, and takde bilik with double bed.. yg ada king sized bed aje.. and i had to share with my colleague.. lepas tu yg bangang nyer aku ni, lupa lak the room is using my department's budget so by right i should hv the bed though i dont mind sharing. tp i forgot about it and was forced to sleep on the room's sofa bed for 1 week bcoz tat colleague of mine doesnt share. and now the effect is m having bad backache since then.. :(
seriously serik giler. next time if travel dgn dia lg, harus mintak bilik lain utk dia. dia pun tak sedar diri dah la budget department aku, ada hati nk suh aku plak tido sofa bed.. patut suh je dia cari hotel lain.. sbb hotel kitaorg tu da fullhouse.. hahaha.. jahat giler.. :P
