dah tua bangka baru nk amik masters.
dah ada anak baru nk amik masters.
otak dah berkarat baru nk amik masters.
tat was my thoughts when i started looking around for scholarships to further my studies.
getting my masters is my long overdue to-do on my berhabuk list. *tiup ckit* my excuse for not getting it checked off my list was keje, keje, keje, kawin plak.. before i got pregnant i did look around local unis to finally do this. then i got pregnant. i literally chucked the brochures i got in the trash. *facepalm*
then ayra entered my life.
it was then tat i thought, if i were to teach ayra to reach for her dreams, achieve her goals, then i should do my part first before encouraging my child to do the same.
and then there is another reason that i cant share here.. sorry hehehe..
lepas check criteria of sooooo many scholarships and student loans, rupanyer i am only eligible for mara postgraduate education financing. and this is my last year. so i tried my luck. thinking would they even consider a married woman with a child at my age??? what are the odds?
may the odds be ever in your favor kata hunger games. tetiba kan. haha.. alhamdulillah when i checked the system, i was eligible to take their psychometric exam and interview. tat means sebelah kaki da masuk.
and alhamdulillah dua2 pun da selesai. the interview was most challenging not because of the questions or the process but the timing and venue. first of all it was scheduled during the halal week, of which sepatutnya we cannot even take leave, and have to be super committed during the week, apa lagi nk excuse ourselves for our personal thingy kan. pastu time plak kul 8am, at BERANANG. yeppp.. u read tat right.
when i first read it on my computer screen, my first thought was 'where in the world is beranang?????!!!". googled. still clueless. google map. even more clueless. decided to take a trip there on a weekend b4 the interview. ok, got that checked. and nasib baik ada waze. tp lg best pki ajoy's ways. lg dekat. hikhik.. tp masa balik sesat.. hahahaha! takpe takpe, yg penting smpi shah alam. :P
ok about the interview. it was done in a group of ten candidates. the waiting time was quite fun coz we got to know one another. dpt kawan baru yeayyy.. anyway, the interview was conducted in 3 parts - case study, game & question(s).
dont think i can elaborate about it here, but to me it was fun. lots of characters with different ideas. hehe.. best.. tau2 da abis da.
before our interview session, we were talking to one another and compared what we heard and knew about the questions asked during previous interviews. and let me tell u, the questions were pretty random and some are somewhat strange, and highly irrelevant!
nasib baik the question we got was relevant. betul ke tak jwpn tu tak penting. they (mara) only wanted to see how we carry ourselves sbnrnya.
ok so now the other part of this journey is doa, doa, doa. i am thinking to do my masters in UK, tempat tumpah darah ajoy & i.. saje nk balik kampung kejap. hope everyone who reads this bole doa skali dgn kitaorg. ye la, kita tak tau doa siapa yg termakbul remember? so thank you so much in advance pd siapa yg doa utk aina!!!
^_^
