working in damansara. staying in shah alam. ayra in shah alam.
the time we have when we reach home up to ayra's bedtime is very limited. unless for some reason we reach our home before 7pm. which is very rarely. and this can only happen if ajoy fetch ayra first.. we usually arrive home around 730pm - 8pm.. if not, lagi lambat sampai rumah.. if ayra is at my PIL's house, sometimes we reach our home ard 830pm - 9pm.. mmg lambat..
what time is ayra's bedtime? 930pm - 10pm..
significance of this post? i value the time i get to spend with ayra.. even if it is only for 30 minutes.. whenever we reach home early i will be very happy because i get to maximize the time i have with her.. why is this so important? for me, this is the time i get to bond with ayra.. study with ayra.. play with ayra.. this short window of time will be spent wisely.. not me lazing around watching tv or playing with my phone. because i hv such a short time, i make sure i make the best of it.. (i am using i, because i am speaking on my behalf. ajoy pun sama la kut hehe)
and i hv to eat too kan.. tats dinner time tul tak.. i hv to prepare food for me n my husband too.. so tolak time nk prepare food, nk masak, nk kemas, sometimes rasa tinggal sikit sgt masa.. tu belum masuk kemas barang2 ayra from Ibu's house.. tats why sometimes we just buy food.. takpe, yg penting to me is time with my princess..
sometimes when ayra is watching her movie intently, i will try to squeeze in some household chores.. but more often than not, all the household chores will be done after ayra falls asleep.. this will also include my me time - pray, shower, hp hehe.. tu belum masuk melayan ajoy nyer nak air la, nak itu la, nak ini la lagi tu hahaha.. so yes, ayra comes first to me..
i felt compelled to write this because i get annoyed seeing parents who are so in to their handphones sampai anak kat mana ke, anak buat apa ke semua tak sedar.. please please please!! jgn smpi jadi something baru nk sedar.. my friends and i once saw this mother who was looking at her hp all the time while walking from one point to another at a considerable distance while her children are just following her. never even looked up to see if they are following her. please ya, skrg ni byk sgt case, please jgn leka.. please.. ni baru 1 case.. byk lg other cases.. yg kat rumah pun, smpi anak meninggal sebab jatuh tangga, mak mana? sibuk tgk fb.. ish byk giler la case!! please la!
anyway, getting back to ayra, this short time frame we have we will usually try to teach ayra a few things.. i wish i can be as hands on as xiaxue (spore blogger, sila google sendiri hihi). anak dia pandai gila.. but with the limited time we have, we try to make the best of it.. we try..
so ayra, mummy and daddy hope that one day you will grow up and appreciate the effort we make for you k.. be a grateful daughter tau.. hehe..
