okay.. lets see ayra's milestone development since she turned 5 mths shall we..
mastered skills (most babies can do)
can roll over - yup.. can.. both sides now..
amuses herself by playing w hands n feet - ooo sgt suka.. put her on her back and she'll usually immediately grab her feet.. tp tak masuk mulut la hehehe..
can distinguish btwn bold colours - tak brp sure lak yg ni..
emerging skills (half of babies can do)
turns towards new sounds - most definitely. she'll turn at any loud sound now.. and at one time i was worried if she had hearing prob hihihihi.. seeessshhh such an over-worrying mum i am huh.. :P
recognizes own name - yes alhamdulillah she will respond when we call her name now.. :)
advanced skills (a few children can do)
may sit momentarily w/out support - ok for ayra mmg literally momentarily.. like 1-2 seconds hehehe.. but she can sit on baby high chair and if bersandar lama ckit dia duduk..
mouths objects - oh tis one i dont like.. semua benda nk masuk mulut. semua benda nk gigit.. even her changing mat! but its a milestone dev so juz roll with it la kut..
stranger anxiety may begin - it has begun. sometimes i cant even leave the room. sometimes she doesnt even want ajoy, only wants me. ayra meets with my family on weekly basis, so mula2 mmg nangis but it took her less than 5 mins to warm up to them. maybe bcoz they look familiar.. i wonder how she might react to a total stranger..
may be ready for solids - doesnt hv all the signs yet.. maybe can see in a week or two..
